Azomite is a mineralizing agent containing over 70 beneficial elements.  It is a mined volcanic mineral product that is available in fine powder and granular forms.

Most soil types are deficient in some kinds of trace minerals that are in a form available to plants. Adding the trace minerals to compost is a good way to be sure that they are mixed well with soil microbes that will help to break them down and make them available to plants. Note that a soil test is needed for you to determine if your soil is deficient in specific minerals.
